Antique silver-plated spice management with crystal glasses
Magnificent silver-plated Christofle Napoleon III spice cruet from France around 1880. Round rising base standing on three decorative feet; Central shaft with holder, attached to it a rotatable holder with an open gallery and pearl rim, in which various containers were hung. They consist of 5 Sèvre crystal bottles, finely engraved and etched with flower motifs and drops on transparent, colorless crystal glass. Three vessels with corresponding silver lids. The containers are two bottles for vinegar and oil, a salt shaker, a pepper shaker and a mustard pot. Very good original condition with age-appropriate patina, no chips. Collectable!
