Magnificent warming dish from America. Smooth base, rectangular form with rounded corners. Rims and handle decorated with cord frieze. Lidded bowl.lavishly decorated with the most beautiful summer flowers. Rectangular, removable handle. Pretty monogram on the lid. Marked, made by the Gorham silver company of Providence/Rhode Island, in 1883. Condition excellent with minimal signs of use. Original hard silver plating. Beautiful silversmith work! Collectible.
