Extremely rare silver pin from around 1850. Depiction of a happy, colored boy, adorned with a colorful turban and earrings. Set with various precious stones such as turquoise, amethyst, tourmaline, moonstone and deep red corals. Moretto needles were worn for good luck. Manufactured probably in Venice in the middle of the 19th century. Marked, brands illegible. In the original box! Absolutely collectable, museum quality.
