Candlesticks as a couple have been in demand for centuries as a decorative object and silverware. The candlesticks were made in 1920 by the company I.M. Hutchfield made in Birmingham.
The pair has an oval, rising base, a conical shaft and a slightly urn-shaped candle cover with removable insert. The candle cover is adorned by an oval, slightly cupped rim.
