Antique jewelry for women from our inventory
Filigree technology is an old, ornamental wire bending technique that has been known for over 2000 years. This creates delicate, like spun jewelry, in which fine wires that are bent and patterned are soldered to one another or to a substrate. The delicate gold and silversmithing is carried out by hand.
Beautiful openwork brooch in filigree technique. Bow shape with abstract leaves and tendrils, edged with geometric, graphic motifs. Back with paperback. Made around 1930. Marked with 835.
