Masterly crafted tooth box in silver. Conical body, made on alternating concave and convex rings. Smooth base. Plug-in lid with handle in the shape of a dog, reminiscent in design of a comic figure. Hardly legible marked, probably Alexander Sturm in the succession of the Wiener Werkstätte from the 1950s. Designs of the artistic avant-garde of the time, such as those of the Werkbund architect Oswald Haerdtl, among others, helped objects in the style of the Wiener Werkstätte to reach new heights. Excellent condition, no defects. Absolute collector's item, museum quality!
