Art Nouveau Chain Slide in Doublé, Enamel and Opal
Rare chain slide from the Art Nouveau period around 1900. Floral setting in gold doublé with window enamel (plique a jour) in a delicate colour gradient. In the centre an oval opal cabochon in a frame setting. Attached two drop-shaped elements with inlaid enamel and opal cabochons. Chain with spring ring clasp in gold doublé. Without maker's mark, probably Kollmar & Jourdan from Pforzheim circa 1900 - 1910. Excellent condition with natural patina. Absolutely collectible!
