Antique jewelry from our inventory
Floral jewelry has always been very popular with women. Especially in Art Nouveau and Art Deco there are numerous creations with elements from the plant world, sometimes more and sometimes less abstracted and set with precious stones and pearls. The term "flora" is derived from the Latin name of the Roman goddess of flowers and youth.
Beautiful brooch from the Art Nouveau period. Rectangular shape, composed of delicate, curled tendrils, which are covered with fine leaves of the heart-shaped ivy bag. A large, rectangular green agate in cabouchon cut in a frame setting complete the beautiful composition. Handcrafted around 1905. Marked, manufacturer unknown.
