A unique pendant from the Art Nouveau period around 1910. A drop-shaped carnelian cabochon in a bezel setting was suspended from a centre piece in the abstract design of a butterfly. This was decorated with abstract foliage, tendrils and spheres. A masterful piece of work! Unfortunately unsigned, but probably Pforzheim circa 1910. Condition very good with light patina. With chain.
