Antique jardiniere in 800 silver by Lutz & Weiss, Pforzheim
In 1882, Carl-Wilhelm Lutz and Friedrich Weiß founded a gold and silver jewelry factory in Pforzheim in the legal form of an OHG, which was converted into a family GmbH in 1903.
This beautiful jardiniere was made there around this time. It is made of solid silver, the inside has also been gilded. Elaborately forged body with leaf tendrils and structured medallion. Original insert, cut glass, base with star cut. No damage, neither on the glass nor on the body! Natural patina, very good condition. Collectible, museum quality!
