Antique Cigarette Dispenser in Silver 900/-
A rare commissioned cigarette dispenser in solid silver from around 1900 by Otto Bortenreuter from Dresden. A daily requirement of approx. 50 cigarettes can be consumed here with pleasure. Two removable boxes were mounted on the side. On one side is a box for matches, which protects the matches from moisture with a lid with a spring lock and has a rubbing surface on the side for ignition. On the other side there is a holder with a glass insert to hold the burnt matches. All elements in solid silver 900/- and marked. Here the chimney can smoke! Condition with original patina, no defects!!!
