Original Art Deco necklace in 835 silver, Theodor Klotz (1940s)
Elegance in motion - a necklace from the heyday of design
This original Art Deco necklace made of fine 835 silver is a masterpiece from the late Art Deco period and dates from the 1940s - made entirely by hand by the renowned jewellery manufacturer Theodor Klotz (TEKA) in Pforzheim.
The design consists of delicately crafted leaves that appear almost alive thanks to their precisely engraved veining. Each individual leaf element is connected by fine eyelets made of silver wire - a flexible mesh that elegantly and comfortably moulds to the décolleté. The alternation of structure and movement makes this necklace a real eye-catcher without being obtrusive.
In addition to the silver hallmark ‘835’, the necklace bears the rare TEKA maker's mark in a triangle and the historic Laurin quality seal - a mark of quality for particularly high-quality jewellery from the years 1936 to 1945.
Whether for everyday wear, with a business outfit or as a special accent to an evening dress - this piece of jewellery combines style, craftsmanship and contemporary history in an impressive way.
A necklace for women with a sense of design, detail and individuality - wearable like art. Condition: light patina.
