Antique traditional costume necklace from Austria from the 1920s
Rare traditional costume necklace in silver with an amethyst from Austria. Richly openworked elements of curved rocailles, volutes and acanthus leaves form an enchanting background. A large, oval amethyst cabochon has been set in a dimple setting on the central heart-shaped element. Anchor chain with spring ring clasp. Marked in Graz from 1922 with the Wiedehopf mark for 835/- silver. Condition very good with patina.
