Multiple subdivided lower body on a circular base. On one side of the round body decorated with flowing shapes of abstract water lilies with leaves. Opposite side without decoration. Vegetable lid with an abstract knotty attachment. On the back, the discreetly profiled handle with insulators, which is connected to the body by Astwerk.
Highly elegant and rare work of Art Nouveau of solid weight, which shows a clear proximity to the formal language of Henry van de Velde. Very good, undamaged condition. Manufactured by Otto Wolter, Schwäbisch Gmünd around 1900.
