Wonderful tilting tea pot from the Art Nouveau epoch - the time of Japonism in the european art. Geometrical body with stepped ring stand; long, lengthwise profiled spout, hinged lid with spherical knob and a high handle. Surface rich decorated with engraved japanese motifs: bamboo leaves, acorn and flowers. Handle with bamboo-shape. Mountig made from bamboo-shaped elements, with fuel container. Marked, made by Walker & Hall in Sheffield, about 1900. Condition: knob and handle with removed silver plating.
