Antique salt resp. spice cellar from the time of german Biedermeier. Nearly square foot with rounded corners, standing on four rocaille feets and decorated with wide acanthus frieze. Conical shaft. Bulging bowl with horizontal rim, nearly square shape, decorated with wide acanthus frieze. On the wall engraved coat of arms with a star. Marked, made in the famous german manufactory of Johann George Hossauer in Berlin, prussian court goldsmiths, about 1860.
