The Roberts & Belk company was founded under another name on December 20, 1810 in Sheffield and taken over in 1845 by Samiel Roberts, who in 1863 together with his partner Charles Belk. Under this name beautiful silver works were made until 1961.
This pair of creamer and sugar bowl was manufactured in 1901 in Sheffield / England. Particularly striking is the handle of milk creamer. This is a mermaid. In keeping with the allusion to the water, the body of the two objects is decorated with a slightly curved décor. The floor of both is flat.
