Antique snuffbox in 875/- silver
This beautiful antique silver snuff box with hunting scenes comes from the Caucasus, once the southernmost part of Tsarist Russia. The Caucasus was a popular destination for aristocrats and other wealthy Russians in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The small rectangular box is elaborately engraved on all sides with hunting and battle scenes. Marked with the Kokoshnik mark for 875/- silver circa 1900 and unknown master's mark. Condition intact with contemporary signs of use, collectible!
