Gorgeous small vase with two duck figures. The vase has a flas base, conical walls and cylidrical neck. On the neck are sitting two three-dimensional ducks. The duck figures are colorful hand painted. The neck is decorated with stylized cherries or plums, painted over stencils. The vase wass created in the porcelain fabrick Metzler & Ortloff in Imenau/Thuringia, which was famous especially for the wonderful porcelain creatures. The brand "Metzler & Ortloff" is still very appreciated by the collectors. Marked, made about 1890-1910. Condition very good.
