Extraordinairy ring, set with a big, oval genuine opal in toothed prong setting. Around this great stone is a wreath with scalopped edge, filled with small diamonds. The ends of the ring hoop are filled with diamonds, too. The diamonds are set in platinum, the mounting of the opal stone and the ring hoop are made from red gold. This precious ring was created probably in the USA about the year 1915 and shows the typical forms of the Art deco.
