A pair of magnificient edwardian column candle-holders. The candle-holders have the shape of corinthian columns, with slender, fluted shafts and capitals, decorated with acanthus leaves and scrolls. The columns stands on rectangular, curved domed bases, with profiled edges, which are decorated with pearl frieze. Inside the capitals are removable nozzles with profiled pearl frieze rims. Marked, made by Marks & Co in Sheffield/England, about 1910. Condition excellent.
