Antique silver flat and hollow ware from our stockPrecious footed bowl from the first half of the 19th century. Round base, graded domed and decorated with tongue moldings friese. On the base are sitting three swans, with trails ending in high, scrolled acanthus tendrils with fruit and flower decor. These hold the flat, bell-shaped bowl with wide collar rim, decorated with tongue molding friese. On both sides are two high handles, composed from swans, with trails ending in scrolled acanthus tendrils. An extraordinairy and unique work! Marked, makers mark illegible, made probably in the USA, dated 17th May 1838. Assayer's test mark (massive silver, not silver plated!).
