Beautiful footed and engraved Art Deco bowl. Four-parted, bulging body with four delicate foots and lengthwise contoured rim. Two opposite tongue-shaped handles with scrolled ends. Wall front engraved with "CANDID & CAPABLE 2nd COUPLE", the handles engraved with "O" under crown and the date "1932". Probably a prize, won by a competition. Marked, made by Cooper Brothers & Sons in Scheffield/England, in 1930. Very good condition.
