Antique silver flat and hollow ware from our stock

Antique snuff box with rich geometrical pattern in niello-technique. Rectangular shape, domed stand and hinged lid. Walls decorated with stripes and squares, filled with abstract floral decoration. Inside gold plated. Lid inside with engraved monogram "H.v.H.". The box is marked: master mark probably G.Y. (in cyryllic script), master name not known; assayer mark Nikolay Dubrovin in Moscow, dated 1838 (worked 1822-1855). Excellent work!
