Beautiful butter-dish resp. cheese cover. Rectangular plate with rounded corners and flat rim collar, which is lengthwise contoured and decorated with relief stylized leaves and shells. Half-cylindrical lid with wide ribs and lengthwise contoured band handle. The scalopped front rim of the lid has a matching opening in the plate collar. Marked, made by Jenkins & Timm in Sheffield/England, 1894-1930. Excellent condition.
