Precious lided caviar bowl! On a triangle-shaped base are mounted three dolphins, holding with their tail fins the bowl. High domed stackable lid with dolphin-shaped knob. Surface decorated with hammered relief: arcades, acanthus leaves, tendrils, lattice and flowers. Bowl and lid inside gold plated. Lid with opening for the spoon. Walls with signs of gold plating. Created about 1900 in Norway, master sign not known. Condition: patina, but still very good.
