Rare antique vodka shot glass from old Russia! Conical body with stand and rounded rim. Walls rich decorated with engravings and niello: two landscapes with buildings in oval cartouches, between them delicate branches with leaves. Background decorated with finest engraved pattern. Surface outside and inside gold plated. Excellent craftmanship! Marked: on the wall 84 for silver content; base with 84 for silver content and st. Georg with dragon for Moscow, master mark "AH" and assay mark of the Moscow assayer Andrey Antonovich Kowalsky ("AK", worked 1821-1856), further the date 1841. Condition: patina, but still excellent.
