Antique porcelain from our stock
Unique piece of Vienna porcelain history! Lided high footed box resp. goblet. Domed foot, baluster shaft, cylindrical body and domed, stackable lid with a knob. On the wall depicted puttos as hunter, fisher, cooks, winegrower and brewer. Printed colorful scenes on gold background with white hand painted accents, rich gold decor on wine red background. Marked with blue beehive mark under glaze, made in one of the Vienne porcelain manufactories. This is not a product of the Augarten porcelain manufactory, but a copy of the mark, which exist since thee 1860ties years. Nevertheless is this an excellent work, with hand painted gold decoration, not a bad copy from the 1920ties or 1930ties, when the decor was only printed. Bronze mounting. Very good condition.
Height 9,5 inch
