Wonderful antique mocha cup an saucer. Hand painted multi-colored and gold decoration. Cup: small stand, slightly bulbous body with stright rand and round handle. The ends of the handle are decorated with flower and leaf shaped applications. The front side is decorated with gorgeours rich flower bouquet, smaller bouquets besides; rand colored with cobalt blue and gold. Saucer round, bulbous body with wavy rand. Inside small flower bouquets; gold rand.
Made in the porcelain manufactory in Meissen between 1860 and 1870, marked: Cup with blue swards mark under the glaze; press mark 110 and 9 X; painter signature not clear. Saucer with blue swards mark under glaze; press mark 14; painter signature 56. Condition: small chips on the stand of the cup
