Antique lady's jewelry from our stock
Wonderful antique brooch from the 19th century. The rhombus-shaped brooch body is composed from stylized acanthus leaves and scrolled tendrils. In the centre is mounted a leaf-shaped element, dense inlayed with especially cut turqoise cabochons and small oriental pearls. The brooch is created from thin gold plate, pressed and engraved to give her the form. The gold plates are then soldered together and often filled with resin, so that the delicate shaped elements couldn´t go out of shape. Made about 1860. A very delicate and rare piece of jewelry!
