Extravagant huge brooch with precious stones. Abstract floral shape (chrysanthemum) with scrolled petals, filled with deep violet amethyst stones. In the centre is a rhodium plated element, with a diamond as a finial. Excellent goldsmiths work. Retro Modern Hollywood style, late Art Deco era, ca. 1940. Signed, master not known, Germany or Europe.
