Beautiful egg cooker from the late victorian period. Egg-shaped body on three feets with spherical ends. Movable handle. Inside a holder for 4 eggs. Under the body a holder for removable fuel container. Upper body part rich decorated with flower and acanthus relief and a sitting swan finial figure. Marked, made by Dixon & Sons in Sheffield, about 1880. Very good condition.
