Simple vintage bangle in 585 yellow gold with sapphire & diamond - 1980s elegance
This elegant vintage bangle from the 1980s is a prime example of the clear, understated design language of the time - and at the same time a statement for fine goldsmithing in the most exquisite finish.
Made from 585 yellow gold (14 carat, stamped and guaranteed), the hoop has an oval, two-part shape with a square bar that deliberately avoids superfluous ornamentation and concentrates entirely on proportion, tension and fine materials.
The two open rail ends are each set with a gemstone:
🔹 On one side, a deep blue, oval-cut sapphire cabochon,
🔹 opposite a small, round diamond with a subtle, sparkling brilliance - both securely set in classic bezel settings.
The bangle opens via a hinge on the side and is secured by a clasp with a safety catch. The condition is excellent - the piece has been lovingly refurbished in our goldsmith's workshop and presents itself today in perfect lustre.
