This unique silver work from the 50s represents the image of a wonderful, abstract pendant. The setting is made of 835 silver and set with three cabochon cut rhodochroites. Unfortunately there is no hallmark of the designer, but the jewel reminds of a work by Kordes and Lichtenfels. The angular design of the silver frame is in perfect contrast to the round, almost soft-looking rhodochroites.Rhodochrosite is said to protect against depression, anxiety and feelings of inferiority. The Indians worshiped rhodochrosite as a stone of heart and love.
