The meander is an undulating line ornament found on art and jewellery objects, in architecture and on clothing. It owes its name to the typical many curves and bends. This was taken from the name of the Greek river Maiandros, whose course was known for its numerous river loops.

This beautiful and high-quality necklace in silver is made of numerous openwork meander links. The production of the links in the course is particularly elaborate. It fits perfectly to the wearer. The surface of the necklace is shiny and polished and has a safety clasp. Marked with the Omega brand of F. Zerrenner from Pforzheim from the 1960/70s.
