In the 1960s and 70s, jewellery pieces were created that were far removed from classical jewellery taste: unusual forms, located between abstraction and nature, between architecture and art. The artists experimented with casting, rough surface structures and symmetry. Collected and coveted today, they still retain their unique charisma.
Abstract small brooch in 333/- gold in the shape of a butterfly by an unknown silversmith from the modernist period. The wing tips were additionally rhodium plated and set with small diamonds. Rough symmetrical surface as a casting in the lost wax process. With pin catch on the back. Unknown designer around 1960/70.
