This exquisite 925 sterling silver cigarette or playing card box was made in 1945 by the Inman Manufactory Co in Birmingham. A rare collector's item with an erotic pin-up motif by Alberto Vargas on a deep blue background. The image of a seductive pin-up girl from the 1940s/50s is flanked by the newspaper headline "Heat Wave". The inside of the tin is engraved with "Sheila, June 1950" and is in excellent original condition.
