Set of Art Nouveau Schnapps Cups in 800/- Silver
Wilhelm Binder's silverware factory was founded in Schwäbisch Gmünd in 1868. It was one of the largest in its field in the city and produced high-quality flat and corpus silverware that was exported all over the world. Today, these are highly sought after by collectors and museums.
Set of 6 schnapps tumblers: smooth standing base, conical wall and lip without projection. The walls are engraved with floral Art Nouveau decoration, the inside is gilded. Marked, model 20393, made around 1900 in the silver manufactory Wilhelm Binder in Schwäbisch Gmünd, as well as an export mark which is difficult to read.
