Floral jewelry has always been very popular with women. Especially in Art Nouveau and Art Deco there are numerous creations with elements from the plant world, sometimes more and sometimes less abstract and sometimes set with precious stones and pearls. The term "flora" is derived from the Latin name of the Roman goddess of flowers and youth.

Rare necklace from WMF around 1910 in 835 silver. The necklace consists of five movable elements, each individually decorated in an abstract heart shape and with flowers and tendrils on the inside. The chain is closed with a spring ring.
Body goods from WMF are known, but jewelry from WMF is absolutely rare! Handcrafted around 1910. Age-related patina, condition very good.
