Vintage brooch in gold plated silver 935/-
Forge hammering was already known in antiquity as a metalworking technique. During driving, a sheet of metal or solid material is plastically deformed, usually in a cold state. This is often done with a hammer or a forge hammer.
Pretty brooch or pendant in gilded silver 935/-, set with a pearl. Individually made leaves were joined together to form a pansy blossom, gilded and set with a pearl. A lovely example of the creativity in jewellery of the 1930s. The brooch can also be worn as a pendant. Marked with an unknown maker's mark. Condition very good. Without chain!
