Vintage bracelet with rhodonite in 925/- silver
The name of rhodonite is derived from ancient Greek and means something like "rose" or also "rose fragrance". In Latin, the word is found as "Rosa", which led to the German "Rose". Rhodonite has also been used as a gemstone since about the 1950s.
Wonderful chain bracelet set with rhodonite. The semi-circular cabochons have rim settings, which are connected by chain links in silver. Pin clasp with safety chain. Marked around 1960/70, maker unknown.
