The famous jewelry artist and sculptor Björn Weckström teamed up with Lapponia founder Pekka Anttila and created Lapponia's unique sculpture-like designs from the start. Weckström's aim is to depict the snow-covered Finnish winter landscape with its frozen lakes in his designs - this creates the unique and unmistakable surface of Lapponia's jewelry. All Lapponia creations are made entirely by hand.

Magnificent pendant from LAPPONIA. Heavily structured, solid geometric gold element. Adorned with a beautiful pearl, the piece of jewelery from the "Lapland Gold" series creates a wonderful design. Marked, made by Lapponia jewelry manufacture in Helsinki / Finland, design: Björn Weckström. Dated 1993. Without chain!
