Antique necklace in 925 silver, gold-plated
Theodor Fahrner (1859-1919) was a famous jewelery manufacturer from Pforzheim. He was one of the pioneers of Art Nouveau jewelry and, as one of the first jewelry manufacturers in Europe, commissioned freelance artists (designers) to design the jewelry he produced. He managed to turn his father's largely insignificant ring factory into one of the most creative jewelry companies in Europe. Magnificent necklace from the Theodor Fahrner jewelry manufacture. Consisting of individual filigree elements in gold-plated silver, which were formed into a chain and set with marcasites. Surface covered with the typical Fahrner filigree. Marked, made by the Theodor Fahrner Pforzheim manufacture. Condition: very good original condition.
