Large martellated serving platter with bonnet. Oval platter with segmented rim and floral decoration. Bulged oval bonnet, rim and handle decorated with delicate rocaille design. Elaborately hand-engraved coat of arms. Heavy workmanship by the silver manufacturer Piero Airoli, Milan/Italy, circa 1950. Other unknown marks. Excellent condition, hardly any signs of use.
