Question about item

No two corals are alike. One shines in a deep red, another in a heavenly rosé-white, so that it is traditionally addressed as "angel skin". Still others show an individual play of colours, combining intense red tones and pink shimmering parts.

Enchanting ladies' ring with an unusual setting. A large oval cabochon of angel's skin coral has been set in lobes on the ring band. The sides are additionally decorated with small diamonds. The angular ring rail completes the design of an outstanding goldsmith's work from the 1970s. Maker unknown, condition excellent.
