Wonderful lided trinket with hand painted decor. Flat base, rectangular form with rounded corners, domed hinged lid. On the lid multicolore painted motif of two birds in a landscape, walls inside and outside decorated with multicolore bunches of flowers and single flowers. Relief lid mounting, probably silver plated. Made in Paris or France, 19th century, marked. Condition very good.
