The name spinel is said to derive from the Greek word for sparkle or spark. These powerful stones live up to their name! With every movement of the head, they seem to sparkle, dance in the air and play with the shimmer of their high-quality gold setting... truly enchanting!

Intense pink, round spinels have been mounted in richly openworked round frames with claw settings. Very beautiful and delicate work! Ear hooks with loops. Marked, unknown master's mark. Made in the Soviet Union, before 1990. Excellent condition.
