Elegant rectangular tea caddy with a cord rim in solid silver from 1904
The rectangular tea caddy is made in elegant, smooth lines that are typical of the Edwardian era, with an attached cord edge.
Excellent antique condition in excellent quality. The lid is nice and tight. The trademarks are very clear.
The Caddy bears the approval mark for Birmingham, the date letter e for 1904 and the maker's mark WA in an oval for William Aitkin, who worked on Vyse Street in Birmingham from 1891 to 1921.
