The dark red stone, even flaming by the light, has always been in demand as a gemstone. Garnet was used around the turn of the century and after the First World War with love in necklaces, brooches and other jewelry. They created jewelry with gemstones that did not have to be imported. Like the garnet from Bohemia.

The fine workmanship in Double and the classic, slightly pompous design is again in line with the trend of today. The necklace was made in Germany.
