In the glittering era of Art Deco, where elegance and sophistication set the tone, a true piece of jewellery was created: a necklace that captures the essence of this glamorous time. This elegant Art Deco necklace, made from shimmering white mother-of-pearl, epitomises the timeless beauty and inimitable style of the 1920s.
The necklace consists of a chain of pea-shaped mother-of-pearl links that are skilfully linked together in different sizes. Towards the décolleté, irregular, trapezoidal mother-of-pearl bars adorn the piece of jewellery, which have been assembled in a harmonious sequence. This unique arrangement gives the necklace a dynamic structure and makes it fit gently and snugly against the décolleté, as if it were lovingly embracing the shape of its wearer.
A silver clasp secures the necklace and rounds off the overall look with a touch of understatement. This historic piece of jewellery has been lovingly and carefully refurbished in our workshop and re-strung so that it shines in new splendour and transports the grace of the past into the present.
The origin of the necklace is probably attributed to the 1920s, presumably made in the USA, a stronghold of Art Deco design. This necklace is more than just an accessory; it is a piece of history, a touch of boho jewellery that allows every wearer to immerse themselves in the dazzling world of Art Deco and emphasises their natural elegance.
